 TRAINING WITH US IN 2022

Saturday 25 June – New Membership Applications (Puppies Only)

Your dog’s D.O.B.: 11/02/2022 to 16/04/2022

Limited new membership applications for our puppy obedience level (dogs aged OLDER THAN 12 WEEKS but LESS THAN FIVE MONTHS old) are now live on our website. After these memberships are sold out, we will be at full capacity for the next few months.

Please note you can only enrol one dog per application (if you have more than one dog, you can arrange for your second dog to start with us at a later date). A reminder that you must also be prepared for allocation to a class at EITHER 9.30 am or 11.00 am on Sunday mornings.

To enrol:

1. CHECK THE AGE OF YOUR DOG – These memberships are for a puppy class commencing on Sunday 10 July. Please ensure that on Sunday 10 July your dog will be (a) fully vaccinated, (b) over 12 weeks of age, and (c) younger than five months of age. Your dog’s date of birth should be between 11/02/2022 and 16/04/2022. If your dog does not fall into this age bracket, your membership will be rejected and your payment refunded.

2. SECURE YOUR SPOT IN CLASS AND PAY – Visit our website at the link below and follow the prompts through to payment.
https://www.croydondogclub.com.au/enrol/

3. CREATE YOUR BETTER IMPACT PROFILE – After payment, you will see a thank you screen which directs you to create an account on our database Better Impact. If you add more than one person to your membership, you must create a Better Impact account for each person. Please complete this immediately after payment so we don’t have to chase you. This platform allows you to upload the documents we need to check before you can start with us – your dogs’ vaccination record/titre test results and your ID.

4. AWAIT YOUR CLASS ALLOCATION EMAIL – We will contact you to confirm your class details (including start date and time, and other information such as what to bring with you on your first day) once all places have been filled and everyone has uploaded all of their relevant documents to Better Impact.

If you visit our website and see the message “out of stock”, all our available memberships have been exhausted. If you miss out this time, please don’t contact us asking to be put on a waitlist. We are working hard to offer as many places as possible.

If you experience technical difficulties, please capture evidence of your technical difficulty and contact us so we can help you to resolve the issue.

Is your dog too old for this class? We are at capacity for dogs aged five months and older. Please check back on our Facebook and website for future announcements regarding availability, and do not contact us as we are not able to keep a wait list.

Best of luck!

Unfortunately we are only infrequently able to accept new members at this time. Please continue to monitor our website and Facebook for updates. Please remember that we are a club run by volunteers and the number of classes run is based on how many volunteers we have available and the number of people who are attempting to join the club to train their dogs.

We are grateful for the patience our members have shown as we have awaited the reopening of our refurbished club rooms and grounds. We are excited to welcome back members and dogs alike, and get back to doing what we love!

HOT OFF THE PRESS – AUGUST 2021 EDITION OF CAPERS NEWSLETTER

About Our Club
Croydon & District Obedience Dog Club Inc. is a not-for-profit, 100% volunteer-run organisation dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership while helping our members to enjoy life with their dogs.
In addition to teaching puppy and basic obedience classes, we train for, participate in and run a variety of canine sporting events as an affiliate of Dogs Victoria (Victorian Canine Association).

For the benefit of our members, our class numbers are limited to ensure handlers and dogs are given adequate levels of assistance.  Depending on the number of instructors we have available, this can mean there will be a long waiting period for class availability.

Please monitor this page and/or our Facebook for specific details of enrolment dates. Any free places will be filled quickly!

For further details about our training principles and enrolment, please visit our Training and Membership pages.
